Kendall Gammon was born in 1968 and is a native of Mulvane and Rose Hill, Ks. He married his college sweetheart Leslie while attending Pittsburg State University(Kansas). A devoted husband and father, Kendall strives to attain a positive and loving environment for his family with God as the center.

Kendall received his B.S. in Education with the plan of teaching and coaching at the high school level. While at Pitt State he captained the P.S.U. Gorillas both his Jr. and Sr. years, culminating with winning the NCAA DII National Championship. He was voted most inspirational player by his teammates.

A college all league and All American, Kendall was drafted by the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers in 1992 as their 11th round choice (291st player overall). While in Pittsburgh, he played in 7 playoff games including Super Bowl XXX in Tempe, AZ vs. the Dallas Cowboys. After 4 years in Pittsburgh, Kendall joined the New Orleans Saints for four more years, three under Hall of Fame Coach Mike Ditka.

Presently a member of the Kansas City Chiefs and in his 14th season, Kendall played in the 2005 Pro Bowl, the NFL All Star game, played every year in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was the first long snapper ever bestowed this honor. He played in an NFL record 218 straight games, a then record for active NFL players. Kendall has been referred to by many as “the best in the business”, which essentially equates to being the best in the world at his particular craft. Perfection has come through consistency, both in performance and longevity.

Kendall is active in numerous charities including being a spokesman for K.C. Free Health Clinic as well as the Johnson County Christmas Bureau. An entrepreneur as well, he is co-owner of Paradise Nursery, a 43 acre retail/re-wholesale nursery in the Northland of Kansas City. He has been actively involved in building a multi-million dollar company literally from “a vacant field” on up. His business sense has been put to further use as a player elected representative for the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA). He attended and completed the NFL Business and Entrpreneurial Program held at the prestigious Harvard Business School.
